My version of IE6 has an 'Edit this page with Word' button so you can open a page directly in Word and then F7 to spell check. Personally I think it's perhaps a bit much asking Actinic to include everything that gets asked for at the price they offer since most web packages contain far less for the same or more money.

I can tell by your comment that you’re not a business advisor; so what do you suggest? Don’t improve nothing and stand still? How would they pay their staff? Do you think that Actinic should wait until their competitors add new features and then decide to copy them? Actinic would go out of business if everyone had the same attitude as you. Actinic certainly don’t have that attitude because they need feedback, otherwise they would still be on Version 1.0 and there would be no need for this Forum… They need suggestions that would improve their product and to keep Actinic software attractive to new and existing customers, either way Actinic get paid. Actinic don’t build new features into their product and give it away free to everyone.

If I as an existing customer want to upgrade to a new version because it has a spell checker built in, then it would cost me another £250 - £500 on top of the £1500 that I have already paid. If they add new features every year and I wanted to upgrade, then it would cost me approximately the same every year.

If I was a new customer thinking about buying Actinic, why should I buy new if it has nothing extra compared to their previous version, which would cost far less? Do you think they might look somewhere else?

        Touchy huh?

Does it look like that's what I suggested? Of course it isn't so don't snap at me. It wasn't even directed to you, it was for Actinic.

Agree, I spent ages changing US English into ENGLISH as oposed to International English. But at least it's acknowledged as being diffrent. However a product for the market i.e. UK should be in the langue and not treated asa second counsin. France would have a French version wouldn't they?
