Snapshot Error

Our snapshot usually works well each day, until yesterday when we got a Fatal Error

"Errors
(File ExportSite.cpp, Line 1338) - There were no registered sites available to take a backup from.
Warnings
(File Snapshot.cpp, Line 1098) - Registry error 2, key Site - The system cannot find the file specified."

Has anyone come across this before?

Had some errors myself in the past

most solved by logging out, then restarting,Compact Database, then restarting

Other than that I think you need Chris Dickens or someone else at actinic

If you are using v7.0.1 or 7.0.2 your problem might be related to this post

Apparently if you create the snapshot when you have a page fragment highlighted, it can cause a problem.

Thanks for the suggestions Chris & Bill.

The compacting didn't work on this occassion and I haven't yet used fragments.

In case anybody else has the same problem in the future it looks like it was result of the registry becoming corrupted. Performing a System Restore to an earlier registry setting has cleared the problem and I can sleep easier with a Snapshot in the bank.
