Version 6.1.0 and Norton Personal Firewall 2003

    Hi

We've just upgraded two customer sites to V6.1.0 and they appear to work fine except when viewed from a PC using IE6 and Norton Personal Firewall 2003.

    The sites in question are:

    www.anglopackaging.com
    www.accessorystore.co.uk

When viewed from a PC with the above combination of Browser and Firewall, various links within the shopping cart and checkout pages become broken. Also, the Anglo Packaging site which has the bounce page delay set to zero, produces an error when the "continue shopping" button is clicked.

Finally, in both cases, when the "continue shopping" button is clicked, the browser is redirected to the home page rather than the desired last product page.

When using Norton Personal Firewall 2002, as opposed to 2003, on the PC, both sites work perfectly.

I am certain that this is an issue with 6.1.0 as another of our sites (www.ascolights.co.uk) which uses 6.0.1, works perfectly when viewed from the PC with the above browser/firewall combination.

    Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

    Thanks

    Nick

Thanks for that Paul, however that is not the answer.

Both sites (www.accessorystore.co.uk and www.anglopackaging.com) have the base href defined correctly.

The developemnt team have downloaded and installed NPF 2003 and looked at the sites both with the default config and also with turning on every protection they could. They tried search, checkout, etc.

Could you specify your exact settings and a step-by-step scenario so we can try and pin this down?

Also, what other software do you have on the PC with NPF 2003? Do you use a proxy or anything like that?
