    Products on multiple pages

    Hi,

I need some advise, after seeing all the products my client has, it has just occurred to me that my pages are going to be too long to browse through. Any suggestions how i can break this up i.e for 10 products per page etc otherwise we are looking at having 50 products on one page

    thanks Iffat

There's no automatic way. You just have to create (say) 5 sub-sections with 10 products manually placed in each. There is info in the Advanced Guide on putting a Previous and Next link on such pages.

I got round this by putting all the products in an alphabetic list, then duplicating them all and putting the duplicates into groups. That way, those who know what they are looking for can go straight to alphabetic, those who want to cruise are not faced with a huge list. Any help? site is www.treatmentgels.co.uk

Be wary about using to many duplicates if you have a lot of products as not all the info in a duplicate is automatically updated when you update the master so finding and updating can become a pain.

I would create sub-sections as Norman suggests - either break the items down into logical sub-groups or list them alphabetically and use either the "Next" and "Previous" facility or even hard code into a fragment at the top of the page to provide a mini sub navigation for that section
