    Mail not being received from orders (V7)

    Hi

    Until recently, every time an order is placed we have received an email from the actinic system. Now this has stopped. All we receive is the order from SECPAY, and this doesn't describe the goods that have been ordered.

    None of the email settings have changed, and both our ISP and web host details remain the same.

    Does anyone have any ideas about this?

    do your get other mail from your smtp also is your cgi bin 755 and dont 777 permissions

      Go into Advanced / Network Setup and run the Network Test there and report the results of that.

        All normal mail is passing through correctly. The test runs fine as listed below:

        Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
        server: passed
        connection: passed
        sockets: passed
        communications: passed
        authorisation: passed
        message: -

          Did you get the Test E-Mail when that lot ran? If so perhaps the server was bust and is now working. Try making a dummy order and see what happens.

          You can also send test e-mails via the Mail tab on an Order.
