Customer places order for 1 x raincover.
Then calls and asks for it to be altered to 2 instead. No problem (prob not an uncommon request)
So, I go into orderlines and click "increase qty" at bottom.
Window that comes up has a box that says ""quantities ordered" which shows "1"
So, logically, I increase this to 2!
Now, it's ADDED a manual add item adjustment of 2 MORE! bringing the total to 3.
I see that the increase qty option is obviously supposed to replace the "add item" funciton by removing the need to search for the item ref but, given the prompts, it owuld have been more logical to use it to do what it say... INCREASE the qty from 1 to 2? Don't you think?
OK, gripe number 2! Now I have added the additional 2 items, wrongly, I need to delete them.
I can't!
I can't decrease the quantity for the new added item without it looking a mess. If I use the "decrease qty" option for the added 2, it will only let me cancel one, not remove it altogether from the order, so my order (invoice etc) will look a mess now!
And, I just know that once I start cancelling (which is the only thing I can do now) and shipping, that the order is going to hang about in my pending tab and I'll have to export it to get it to leave!
So, to summarise! "increase qty" option should allow you to edit the ORIGINAL qty, not add an addition qty (IYSWIM!)
And you should be able, from the catalog processing screen, to delete any items added using this function (and the "add item" function) altogether without having to "cancel" them.
Rant over :-)
