returning to previous host, but cant get settings right

    hi there,

i changed hosting with a company and have returned to my previous company due to problems with thier server, but now when i put in the same details that worked previously they just dont work.

when i do a test in the advanced settings page it says:

"Unable to move to the acatalog directory "/public_html/acataolg/" on the FTP server possibly due to a mistake in the Path from CGI-BIN to acatalog Directory field.
The specified directory does not exist or you do not have access to the directory."

    ....................................................

after going through the wizard when i enter my site url in the 'web site address' box it comes with an error

"the wizard recieved an error whilst verifying the web server. Error sending request"

any idea what i need to do?

    ......................................................

my settings on the advanced page are as follows:

    catalog url: http://www.decorativextras.com/acatalog/
    cgi bin url: http://www.decorativextras.com/cgi-bin/
    code base: ./
    path from cgi bin: ../acatalog/
    cgi script id: 4
    extention: .pl
    mail server: localhost
    website url: /www.decorativextras.com/
    path to pearl shell: /usr/bin/perl
    server host: 65.98.55.242 (as supplied)
    username and password: (as supplied)
    path to cgi bin: /public_html/cgi-bin/
    path from cgi bin: /public_html/acataolg/acatalog/

whenever i test or apply changes the path from cgi bin changes to~:

    /public_html/acataolg/acatalog/

any ideas what i need to do?

    any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for all help everyone!!

are you copying this or typing it?

    /public_html/acataolg/acatalog/
    'acataolg' doesn't look quite right.

If the cgi-bin is in the /public_html/ directory as well then surely the path from the cgi-bin to the acatalog directory should just be ../acatalog/
