Cannot product snapshot any more

I produce a snapshot every night as means of backup. However last night when it was doing the snapshot the little files that fly across the screen stopped and eventually actinic crashed. Now every time I try it the same happens. Also the system crashes if I try to do a compact database.

I am on 7.0.2 and have been for some time. No structural changes have been made for ages.

Why is actinic now hanging and crashing when I do a snapshot? This is going to prove a real pain as we run a 2-machine system and I now cannot update the second machine.

Why is actinic so flaky ?

Hi Jez - make sure you are clicked onto a product before you start the snapshot and not a section etc

Thanks for that. I tried it and it still hangs doing the snapshot...... but eventually it did do it !!
Wow I'm amazed as I never usually knowingly have a product highlighted, but maybe I have just been lucky.

It still seems flaky though !!

In general an upgrade to 7.0.3 would be recommended.

It is a known bug which should hopefully be resolved as it catches a lot of people - even those who know and forget
