Brochure page help

Hi,
Basicly I'd like to change my current home page to one which looks much more like my main catalog pages and links in to the product pages easily.
I have looked at using a Brochure page for this but have no idea where to start to try and get the style and product data (not sure if this is possible) from the catalog.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

If I understand the question correctly, can you not "construct" a brochure page with fragments that mimic your catalog pages? If you look at http://www.treatmentgels.co.uk/acatalog/shopindex.html you will see a page made up of fragments - these can be either in brochure or catalog or both.
