Completed Order Printing Limit

I'm sure Actinic has a limit to the number of orders it can print.
I back up my orders by printing them a PDF printer. Actinic only lets me send so many before saying "too many orders selected". I know its not a memory issue as I have "bags" of memory. Why is there a limit?
Its a real hassle if you want to back up a months worth of orders (and can only print 5 days worth in one go!)
