Delivery Charges

Hi,

Our delivery charges are based on value of order. This works well as most of our products are heavy. However we want to sell some higher value products that are light but as the delivery charge would be excessive we want to charge less or deliver for free.

Can this be done in ANY way apart from totally changing our delivery charge structure to be weight based?

Any info appreciated

(I believe that this is something that could be easily included in the software)

I'm afraid if you want selective shipping on some products, you would need to use weights. With this shipping method you can give these product a high shipping weight and on the shipping grid, set the high weight to be free shipping.
You cannot do this with any other method, I'm afraid.

Not good news though - we have lots of products & it would take literally days to sort this out - time we obviously havnt got.

Can I suggest you consider a 'free delivery' option in products in the future
