    Choice dependant choices?

I know this is possible but cannot find any theards or knowledge which give an appropriate answer.

All I want is to have a product which has a choices, for example:size (large, small). The product also has a choice of colours but some colours are only available in large some in small and others available in large and small.

    How do I achieve this?
    regards

    Okay,
Maybe I should get more specific.
I can set it up so that I have 2 options and only certain permutations can be added to the cart.
(This is simply done by ticking which permutations are valid in the component options.)

What I can't do, but feel I should be able to do so customers don't get frustrated by having options rejected in the cart stage, is have some options only available or only open when they select a choice available in a proceeding attribute.

The only difference is that I would like to use radio buttons as I use Norman's "Dynamic Product Images"

    Please help,

I think the "Push Button Matrix" that Actinic can automatically generate if you have 2 sets of choices will do this.

However getting this to work with dynamic product images would be a huge task.

Had a look at the option and your right it would need a fair bit of configuration. Whilst possible, I just don't think is worth the time it would take to do, using this option would through up some other problems with usability which would be just as confusing and frustrating for the user as the cart redirection which is currently happening.

If anyone can think of another method I love to know but for now it just looks like I'll have to think of another way to skin this cat,

            Hi there

Currently Actinic cannot do 'dynamic' choices. All choices in Actinic are done in a static way. The link you have provided can only be achieved by customising Actinic using javascripts and custom variables.
