Problem with the search function

Hello all...

just upgraded to Dev V7 and am having problems with the search function. When you do a blank search it returns nothing found as it should so the basic code seems to be ok, but when I search for anything ie. pencils I get this message....

The product index file format is corrupt. GBP 2 75 Online_Catalogue_Welsh_Stationery_16.html#aWE10 17 RED GIANT PENCILS 0 16 16 Welsh Stationery 14 th_noimage.jpg

....the only file I have changed is Act_ProductPrice.html, to remove the (excludes VAT etc) message from the product summary. Don't see how this could be causing the problem... but, at the same time, could be!!!

Any help would be great, still really new to this software and am just trying to iron out a couple last little details...

Hi Martin,

It seems that they page has spaces which search does not like. Can you find "GBP 2 75 Online_Catalogue_Welsh_Stationery_16.html" section and double click on it. Place change the spaces to underscores.

Once you have done this, and update the site.

I had a few other problems and ended up going back to a previous saved version and redoing the work which seemed to do the trick, looks like I had a corrupt file or two...
