can I make the prev & next product links into images?

Hiya

I am including previous and next product links on my site using the
<a href="NETQUOTEVAR:NEXT_SECTION_URL">NETQUOTEVAR:NEXT_SECTION_NAME</a>

variable. I have changed the link to an image (so I know its possible) but not the image I want it to be.

I basically want the same image throughout the site to send you to the next product and then another image throughout the site to send you to the previous product.

Any recommendations on how to achieve this?
