Problem with shopping cart page width consistency

Hi, I am currently putting together a site which is based on the Smart theme. I have attached grabs of the problem pages, showing the difference in widths on different parts of the checkout process. I have removed any fixed widths in the Act_ShoppingCartXML.html file thinking that would narrow down the page, but it didn't.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which templates I would need to change to sort out this problem

    Hi Craig,

Those two pages should be the same widths as they are using the same templates.

On the invoice address page is there anything towards the bottom of the page that could be forcing the extra width?

Would it be possible to see this site online?
    Regards,

    Toby Blanchard

      Hi Toby,
There is a test version of the site online at http://data.cpfusion.com/.

There seems to be a problem with your server. It's very slow and if I click next after providing my shipping destination I get a Page Cannot be Displayed error.

It might be intermittent so I’ll keep on plugging away.

          Better now.

Having a look at the invoice address page I can see a horizontal rule just below the T&C checkbox which could be pushing the page out of alignment.

Can you open Act_Order01.html, search for:

          <hr size="1" align="CENTER" width="600">

Reduce the width, save upload and test.

          Any joy with that?
          Regards,

            Hi Toby,
Tried that, but no joy I'm afraid. Still getting the same problem. I'll have another look at the template and see if there is anything else that could be forcing the page to widen.
            Cheers,
            Craig

                Hi Toby,

Sorted the issue out thanks, there was a table in the Act_Order01.html template set to a width of 600px.

                Thanks for your guidance.
