    database linking

    Hi,
This is a fairly general question about linking to databases. Our European suppliers have their stock on a database. They have told us that we are welcome to somehow link in to it - if there is a way to do it - which would give us a 'live' stock monitoring, and their stock would effectively be ours. They have over 10,000 products.
Is this possible, if so what sort of size undertaking would this be ?

    Best regards

Actinic business and developer have an external database linking option that would allow you to link straight to your suppliers database (so long as it is a supported database type).

Does this allow linking with products that contain components and attributes?

        Hi Owen

I'm afraid not, External Linking is only for physical products. So it does not allow components or attributes, just basically the fields in the "Product Details".
