    Customer decides payment amount

my client wants to post overseas, and won't do all the volumetric calcs for all his products. He wants customers to place an order, then if they are outside Europe, he will email the cost of postage and he wants a facility where they can make the payment on site?

Does anyone know how do do this, say the cost will be £86.43, how can they make this payment on site?

I see from the knowledge base, its possible to set a whole site up for donations, but it thats not what I need. However, maybe this is the place to start??

    Any help much appreciated.

You could create a product called 'postage charge' at a cost of 1p per unit, then the customer would need to enter the number of units he wants to buy, in this case 8643, and then complete the order as normal.

      Hi olderscot,

thanks for that, I may look into doing that way for pounds instead of pence, I think typing it in pence may be too much hassle for them.

      Thanks,

      Rich.
