Displaying custom properties in search results

Can I include selected custom properties in the search results page? Specifically, i'd like to add CUSTOMVAR:AUTHOR to the search results, so I can have something like

[Picture] The Road Dance, £9.99, John MacKay.

Is this possible?

Well, i've enabled this checkbox, but it hasn't made any difference. I thought I could then edit Actinic_ResultsTemplate.html to include something like:

<IMG SRC="NETQUOTEVAR:THUMBNAIL" NETQUOTEVAR:THUMBNAILSIZE>
</Actinic:XMLTEMPLATE>
<Actinic:S_LINK/><B><Actinic:S_PNAME/></B></A> <Actinic:S_SNAME/>, <Actinic:S_PRICE/>, CUSTOMVAR:AUTHOR <BR>

But that didn't do any good. It seems that I can't use CUSTOMVARS in this context - is there another way?

Did anyone find a way of doing this I wonder?

Liam wanted to display the additional customvar of 'author' in his results; I'd like to do something similar, but display a RRP price alongside our 'offer' price(which already shows in our results).

We have a customvar of 'originalprice' which shows on the product page, but can we get it to show on the search results page?

Hi there

Custom variables cannot be used in the results templates I'm afraid. They will show up as plain text. The only think i would suggest would be to include your "RRP" or "Author" in the full description of the product.
