    Shopping cart on brochure pages

Ive inserted shopping cart contents on my brochure pages. However, after an order is placed and paid for , the shopping cart still displays the same amount for the last transaction. I hoped it would reset to zero...

    any ideas??

I don't think this is anything to do with having the shopping cart summary on the brochure pages. I have seen this sometimes on sites that are using SSL with two different cgi-bins. Could you confirm whether this is the case with your site?

If your situation is as Chris describes then you might find this Knowledge base link useful http://www.actinic.com/knowledge/aca...re.html#aGC119

No - if you are using a Windows server then there is normally a directory called 'scripts' already there which has the ability to run Perl scripts (which Actinic uses to run the shopping cart/checkout/search). Actinic does not create this directory.

Can you post a URL for us to look at please?

You do have 2 cgi-bins. One for when you are shopping and adding to the cart located at:

              http://www.properrecords.co.uk/scripts/

and one secure one for the checkout located at:

              https://www.securedservers.co.uk/properrecords/scripts/

The knowledge base link above contains the fix you need to make to the Perl to get this to work.
