    Actinic Link for QuickBooks Not Working With 6.1.1

    Yikes! I just upgraded to 6.1.1 and Link no longer works. I get an error message that says "This site: Site1 is not an Actinic Business site." On Actinic's site it says that I must download version 1.2 of Link for it to work with 6.1.1, but when I download, I still get version 1.1 (version 1.2 does not seem to be on the site). This is critical because the client needs this site live by Thursday. HEELLLP.

    You may find the upgrade you need on the US partners site as quick books is used with the Us version of Actinic.

    Look for a link on the main Actinic site, I cant remember the URL

      US site

      That's where I downloaded it from. It's not the correct version on the US site either. Help...this is not good. My client is about to lose it.

        I am assuming you have upgraded Actinic to 6.1.1 from an earlier version of Actinic.

        In order to work with v6 of the software, you need to download version 1.2 of the UK QuickBooks link from http://www.actinicdownloads.com/link/index.htm.

        I've just downloaded it and I can confirm it is the correct one.

          Chris...thanks for the reply. OK, downloaded that version. It still says it's version 1.01 in the documentation (the file properties say it's version 1.0). In any event I tried it since you said it worked for you. I still get the same error message. If that's the correct version of Link, do you have any other ideas as to what's going on? I really have to resolve this soon. My customer is having a fit.

            Well I've just downloaded the file from there and installed it, and all the documentation says it is 1.2 and the File Properties say it is 1.2 so something weird is going on.

            I have just emailed you the link to download the file I downloaded. This should really do the trick.
