    page name V6.1.1

    Hi Chris
I have now been with Actinic since V3, and every time we go one step foreward we seem to go two backwards.

In your case you are going to have to look at your filenames in your 'SiteHTML' folder and put these into the 'Page Filename' field. I'm sorry about the hassle this will cause, but at least you will only have to do it once.
Wrong! What about flat file importing?
Don't tell me I have to do my importing and then rename all the files manually afterwards, I have currently 8259 part numbers with I don't know how many pages!

I have just spent a week on the "multiple buy buttons" you just dropped.

Does Hierarchial importing have the same problem with the 'Page Filename'?

BTW I think this forum is a major step foreward, and have solved a lot of problems and got good ideas from here.

    any ideas why the change?

I don't think any version of actinic will have page names stored in the ActinicCatalog.mdb if the user accepted the default name generated by the program when the subsections were created?

fortunately the siteupgrader still doesn't work and the perl scripts remained the same after the 6.1.1. upgrade - at least that saves several hours it usually takes after actinic upgrades to get things back - i.e. put custom script changes back to how they were before the upgrade!

one thing for the wish list would be - not to change the version numbers in the site files and modify scripts to just deal with the versions they find instead of causing some error with some version mismatch!

Just to say I have not forgotten you. I am currently following up this thread with the development team.

      You'll hear from me tomorrow.
