    Product Colour Swatch

    Hiya All,

Have been asked by a client if it is possible to show an image of a sofa and then have a little colour swatch which will then show the sofa in the colour that the user clicked on.

Does anybody know if this is possible at all?

What they do not want is a seperate picture and product or each colour sofa.

The only other 'work around' i can think of is the product image as a flash file that rotates through the sofas in a different colour.

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance.

Norman's site http://www.drillpine.biz has a Dynamic Product Image feature which changes the image displayed depending on customer selection.

      Dynamic Images

If you look at http://www.highlandclans.co.uk/Lochc...Mini_Kilt.html you will see we have a girl wearing a minikilt. It is not practical to have 500 images of the girl wearing every different tartan - so we simply show the tartan.

Here, http://www.highlandclans.co.uk/Clan_Crest_Badge.html we show the product changing.

I played around with Norman's early code - but he has updated his which will be much better than mine.

        Niall,

the clan crest badge page appears to be broken from here. I tried the Campbell of Cawdor and the old picture went away, but nothing came up in its place except the red x placeholder and the alt text Clan Crest Badge. I reloaded the page and tried a couple more changes - same thing.

We had massive problems so did a site refresh having killed off some hidden sites - can only think that these images were in the hidden sites.

ftp ing them up as we speak.

I hate the lack of control in Actinic.

Could we add to the wish list a purge image and other files confirm delete option?
