Product Image ---> Hyperlink

Hi. I would like to turn the product image to a hyperlink. Following the advanced guide I have modify the Act_ProductLine.html from NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINKNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTLINKTEXTNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTENDLINK to <!--NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTLINKTEXT -->
and modify NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTIMAGE to NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINKNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTIMAGENETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTENDLINK
But when I click on the product image, I don't get anyting, and if I click on "enlarge" it open the larger image. Can you help me ?

At the same time I have tried to modify the html code to pop open a new window to present the larger image instead of the full page. I have modifed the Act_Primary.html, the Act_ProductLine.html, and the properties for some products as indicate in the advancedguide_5.doc page 44.
Nothing happen. How can I find where the mistake is ?

Hi Didier

Looking at http://www.pool.fr/acatalog/Promo15.html it looks like you have not made the change to the template at all. I suspect that this product is not actually using the template you have edited.

Please ensure that this product is using the template with the line

NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINKNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTIMAGENETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTENDLINK

If it is, then please upload the template to the community for us to have a look.

As it didn't work, I had cancel the modification. Now I have made the modification again and it doesn't work. I upload the template Act_ProductLine.html modified.

That template looks fine, but it is not the template you are using on http://www.pool.fr/acatalog/Promo15.html. That product template has the product name above the image.

The template you attach does not have this.

I have modified the Act_ProductLine.html template and I have actualised the site.
I have found the solution : I must modify Act_ProductLine3.html and not Act_ProductLine.html. I don't know why ?
I am going to check for my second problem (to open pop up) and I will advise.

Another questions. This modification works perfectly. But for some products it doesn't work depending of how the product is presented : http://www.pool.fr/acatalog/queues_pool_hunter.html
What is the solution ?

Each presentation is controlled by a different template. You need to find out which template is being used and modify the same code in that template as you modified in Act_ProductLine3.html

So I just have to modify all my products now ! A question : instead of the world "enlarge" used to show the enlarge product I would like to put a magnifying glass. Is it possible ?

How are you creating the "enlarge" links to the larger images? With the 'File/URL' and 'Information Link Text' fields?

If you are, then what you can do is in the product line templates where you would like to make this change, replace

NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINKNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTLINKTEXTNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTENDLINK

with

NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINK
<img src="glass.gif">

Big problem

All my modifications works perfectly but it seems that it generates a problem : When I order a product everything is ok until I get the page : http://www.pool.fr/cgi-bin/ca000001.pl. At this place it stops and the only way to continue is to click on tle link to continue. ???

Your store works fine for me. At what point of the ordering process does the store have a problem?

When I try to send an order, I choose the product, add it on the basket and I confirm. At this stage I get the page uploaded here, the adress is http://www.pool.fr/cgi-bin/ca000001.pl. I must click on this line to continue :
"Veuillez patienter, votre navigateur adresse la prochaine page ou cliquer ici "

Look in Help | Help Topics on the index tab for "bounce delay". In ver 7 this allows you to alter how long that page shows before redirecting. If it is available in v5 , you may have it set to a high value. Try changing it to 1.
