I want the results of Google searches on my pages to result by showing my customvar page title as the underlined part of the Google result, or at least something better than What I have now. At the moment Google displays the underlined part of the search result as "Powered by Actinic Actinic Ecommerce Shopping Cart Software..."

Can anyone show me how to change this?

How long have you had the title in place? Has the Googlebot spidered your pages since the change?

Google is running a new algorithm at the moment, so what you see today is subject to change. If things have not settled in about a week, I would suggest adding your company name and address to the page in plain text.

We made the changes about 24hours ago & the googlebot has been on since (early hours this morning).

OK - the date on the web page that Google is returning is 11th June, so you are not seeing the effects of your change yet. As I said, give it a week and then look at it again.
