Image field

HI - I have a catalog with over 6000 products. I want to import the image field for each product along with the rest of the product data - the image ref will be the product code with .jpg at the end. The idea is that if an image of that reference exists it will display and it it doesn't exist it shows the default image. The problem is where the image doesn't exist (I only have about 2000 images so far) actinic errors when it can't find an image. Is there any way around this i.e. it is pssoble to include any sort of expression in the field so if the images exists, display it - and if it doesn't, display the default image.

With regards to importing a flat file, if Actinic cannot find a valid image, it will not import the products. I'm afraid you cannot include any sort of expression in the fields - I will add that comment to the wishlist.

Not at a useful system so can't experiment - but doesn't Excel have a 'filexists' function that could be used to conditionally generate / omit the code you need.

Ie still being able to import a csv even if the image file is not present.

I have been in the same situation as Marshala (fortunately without the same number of products) I got around it by creating trasparant gifs for the missing files
