Search results - link directly to a product in a list

Hi there - wonder if anyone can help

I have an Actinic site where products are listed below each other in several sections. All is fine except for simple search. The issue i have is the search results pave lists products found - but the product link does not go directly to the product but the top of the section rather than the product iteself.

So for example if I have 50 products laid on one page in a single column - when searching for a product that is say number 49, the link takes me only to the top of the section rather than to the product itself!!

Any ideas as to get the search result link to go to the product!!

Hi there

On a default site, this works fine it does go straight to the product. I would check your " Act_Productline.html" template. The following may be missing and needs to be in your template:

Great looking site.

I notice in the brochure pages (About Us, Comments, Terms, How to Order), if you mouse over the Dessert tag on the left, there is no mouse over image. The section pages look fine though.

As another observation, the images on the home page are really attractive, can you use any in the product pages too (or in the extended info sections).

Thanks for you constructive comments - pictures are hard to come by but the aim is to build up as and when.
One further issue if you can help is "Breadcrumbs". I believe section headings can be active links - so in this case if i go to a section like "Quick & Easy Range" i get "Spencers Menu > Quick & Easy Range " how do i make these links active - ie clicking on Spencers Menu takes me home - any ideas
