Hi
I'm currently redeveloping a site for trade only customers, however, non registered customers are allowed to see the product catalogue but not to place orders. Trade customers should see both a retail price and trade price. To achieve this I've setup 2 customer groups and set the prices in the Product > Prices tab of a few test products.
Though this works it's not quite right. I'd originally set-up the retail price to be displayed using a customvar and this worked perfectly. Now that I've set the site up for those that do and don't have accounts I'm getting 3 sets of prices i.e. 1. using my original customvar; 2. displaying a retail price 3. displaying a trade price.
I'd like to keep using the retail customvar price, as there are nearly 2,500 products and I don't want to have to manually adjust everyone. So is there a way of stopping NETQUOTEVAR:COST from producing 2 sets of prices for trade and retail. I've altered Design Text ID 293 & 294 but I still get 2 sets of prices. Could this be something to do with the Perl scripts?
Apologies if this is highly convoluted waffle!
