I am trying to include an extra search feature using Actinic where a customer can click on a company logo and a list of all their products will appear (see 'manufacturers search' on www.acutest.net).

Is there a simple way of doing this in a similar way?

To do similar to the above site you would need to create new sections called "Company A" , "Company B" etc and put duplicate products into that section - use a slim line product layout to create a neat list if you want to link through to the original product or you can display the products "as is" in the new section (this is OK if each company does not have a lot of products to display).

You can then add the company logo the Act_Primary template or the index page etc and link through to your new sections.

Another option would be to create a CUSTOMVAR under Advanced | Custom Properties and call it soemthing like COMPANY. Against each product under properties add the CUSTOMVAR to the list and enter the company name and make sure you tick "searchable".

Under View | Search Settings | Searchable Properties add in the CUSTOMVAR and add the label and make it optional. This create a new search option on the main search page so people can seach just by company
