Uploading everything eavrytime

Hi,

One of our clints is reporting that the site is uploading every file when he does an update. He is using version 6.1.5.

This is a problem he had when using 6.1.4, and was fixed when upograding to 6.1.5 last year. The problem has now come back?

Any ideas, he is obviously not happy that it is taking 15mins plus to do an update. Especially after an order is recieved.

Hmm. Why is he doing an update after an order is received. All he needs to do is 'retrieve orders' and that's it.

Updates taking too long

Hi, he is uploading to update stock levels. If he does not upload after taking an order, the stock levels are not adjusted and he has on occasion had 2 people ordering the same item, which has gone OUT OF STOCK.

However, the main point is, everytime he does an opload, eg. when adding new stock, it wants to upload the enitre site everytime. Even if he does a refresh and then an update, the update still uploads every file again.

OK. Fair enough.

It certainly shouldn't be doing that. The only thing I can think of is that there might be a problem with the database. It's a bit odd that it did it before as I haven't noticed this as a reported or fixed bug. All I can suggest is that you try compacting the database and if that doesn't work contact actinic support directly.

Someone else may have experienced a similar and be able to help.
