Importing sales data from v6 to v7

Hi

When I upgraded from v6 to v7 I did the necessary to bring in my old sales data. But I had to format my hardrive, and when I reinstalled v7 I did not have the most recent snapshot and forgot to bring in the v6 sales.

I have already processed a number of orders in v7 but would like to still bring in my old sales.

Whats the best way to do combine the two sets of sales data?

I'm afraid this is not possible to do within the current version of Actinic. It has been requested before, and i will add this thread to our wishlist.

Definertely no way of opening the relevant database from V6 in Access and importing the data, and then copying in back into Site1 in V7?

You could install both versions of actinic i.e. V6 and V7 on the same machine and they will both run seperatly

You could then recover V6 with its snapshot and data and also have V7 with its own data.

Not the best solution but it would give you history

On a different route you should be able to re-install V6 with V6 snapshot, then upgrade it to V7 and then manualy enter your latest orders in V7, depends on how many orders you have taken since the problem as to feasability i guess
