    A little help needed

    Hi Guys,

I have a small query. On my home page, I am looking to have two columns with products. Image to the left of the text is the default layout I have at the moment, but it defaults to one column only and makes the page appear quite long. Is there a way where I can change it so it displays in two columns?

    Many thanks,

    Roy,
Your front page content area is managed by fragments.
The "Image to left of text" fragment crates a 2 column effect by default.
Have you tried selecting the "image to right of text" or any other layouts to see if you get the desired effect there.
It sounds like the "image to left of text" template maybe being stretched, perhaps by an overly large image?
DO you have a screenshot of how it is appearing when tested?

Hi Fergus. The images are 133x113, so nothing drastic. It looks like there is enough space to have the two columns, but it is not happening for me. I will send you a screenshot.

        Hi Roy,

Any chance you could attach that screenshot onto this thread?

Problem fixed with a little template hack.
Create a left hand fragment template and then a right hand fragment template fooling the html into generationg a table row with 2 columns. Left fragment in left hand <TD> and right fragment in right hand <td>

Takes a little bit of tweaking but ROy can confirm if it works for him.

There's also a patch that puts Brochure Fragments into columns (and another for Products) on www.drillpine.biz/actinicstuff/
