On Evaluation - Is it possible to perform a test transaction?

Hi there,

I am currently working through my evaluation period and would like to know whether it is possible to perform a test transaaction, without having a PSP. my reasoning for this is so that i can see the format in which i would receive an order from my particular site. My products have many variants and I am just curious as to how they are laid out on an order.

You can use a credit card number 4444 3333 2222 1111 with any start or expiry date - so long as you take the payment yourself and not through PayPal etc who will not recognise it

Or use the Credit Card Details sent separately option as a payment method.

Unfortunatley at the moment i seem to have broken things. Possibly too many variables, i just realised the way i set things up i have 30x30x180x10 options per product, live and learn. It is taking a while to delete stuff

Hi Richard,

That does seem rather a lot of combinations. There are often other ways to pass a lot of info per product ordered. If you explain what you're trying to do then someone may point you in a better direction.

Im almost sure of the way to do it, ( although i may return cap doffed ) however the problem I am currently having is removing the offending component tree, my computer runs at 100% for while (as in 20 mins plus) between clicks. I assume this is due to the now massively complex product variants Fun Fun Fun.

May be quicker to export the file and delete the necessary parts then drag it back into Actinic

As Norman says having 180 options against 1 product is horrendously long and not many will be bothered to scroll all the way through the list I wager
