    Offline Order Processing using UPS

Hi folks, I'm looking for some help with creating an Offline Order.

I have UPS Online Tools set up with Rates and Services selected. When I try running a dummy order manually, and get to the Shipping & Handling page, I have 2 options - USPS Priority Mail or UPS. It defaults to USPS and displays a rate but when I select UPS, "Launch UPS Online Calculator" appears along with a "Go" button.

So far so good. However, when I click on "Go", instead of calculating the rate, my HTML editor (Notetab Lite) opens and displays the code for the Act_UpsOrderRecalc file. I realized that I had set the editor to be the default program for opening HTML files, but I can't think of what to change now to have it open normally.

Can someone suggest a cure for this problem, please?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alistair

PS: no problems using UPS when online.

You need to tell us what Operating System you have, so we can answer this one, but just in case you have XP -

Go to Control Panel | Folder Options and choose the file types tab. Find .html and click once to highlight it. Now choose change if you only need to change html behaiour or advanced if you need to change all web documents. This will allow you to look for and select your web browser programme as the default.

      Thanks Bill, for your help.

I must have been getting too tired last night as I should have thought of that. I had gone into Windows Explorer and changed the default program to my browser, but just got a 'page not found' message when I clicked on the Go button.

I would have thought it should have worked but perhaps there was also a problem with the UPS site.

Anyway, it's working now, so thanks again.

      Regards,

      Alistair
