Trouble with Colours

Hi. I adapted the smart theme template to suit my site and ive managed to mess up the colours on some pages

This is a top level section page.
As you can see the menu bar on the left is wrong the backgrounds in dgreen are wrong they should be yellow and links are appearing in black text, they sohuld be white or yellow.
Yet when i go to a sublevel section, ie if you click the alcatel link on the page above to take you

Then everything is right.
Can someone shed some light on this for me please ?

Try using Use Parent for Overall layout and Section layout if thats what you used in http://www.irwebonline.com/acatalog/...Battery_4.html

Yellow on a black background is a bit sore on the eye.

Thanks ill try that. Just have to wait a few hours for the upload to go through.

Id appreciate any more comments on the yellow and black scheme as I thought it looked pretty good. Id hate to be putting customers off if the scheme was hard to look at.
