Confirmation email.

Hi. I would like to know if there is a way to get a mail with a best presentation when I send the confirmation of payment and delivery to my client ? Thank You

Hi there

If you are asking that you want to have an HTML email confirmation page, then I'm afraid this is not possible to do. The confirmation email is simply plain text only. You can add in more text, to do this, in Actinic go to "Advance | Template Manager | Miscellaeous" and click on "Customer" on "Email". Here it will open "Act_CustomerEmail.txt". You can add text into this page.

Yes I was interesting to get an HTML email confirmation page as in text it is difficult to get something beautiful. For example difficult to align column !

Try having a play around with some HTML.

I managed to get some different coloured text.

I looked at the confirmation email from Amazon that I had saved and just copied and pasted some of the HTML.

We use our One Stop Order Processing product to send out HTML emails when we ship items. It does look much better. You can find more information and a free trial at the URL below :

When you create a new email template in One Stop Order Processing you have the option to create a HTML email or a plain text email. To do this you click on the options button which is near to the top right hand side, then you select the email customer tab, click on the new button to create a new email template, then enter a filename for the template, you then click on the change button to edit the template and you will be asked if you want to create a template for your email and then if you want to create an HTML template for your email.

The program does not provide an HTML editor, so the best way to create these emails is to write them in dreamweaver or similar and then copy and paste the code into your template file.
