Drop down choices next to each other

I have a layout problem.

I would like my drop down choices for a product next to each other not under each other. Is there not simply a <br> somewhere that i can delete?

There's one in Act_VariantAttributeName.html that may be the guilty party.

You can also Search for other posts about this.

And the Advanced Guide has info on how you can make any arrangement of these items you like. Look for NETQUOTEVAR:VARIANTS.

The section in the advanced guide is excellent, nice and easy to follow. I have been able to sort my boxes nicely and im a total novice.

I seem to have sorted the problem using the guide how ever i am using
NETQUOTEVAR:VARIANTSELECTORn and it does say that you can only go up to 10

"NETQUOTEVAR:VARIANTSELECTORn
Inserts the choice selection mechanism for an individual attribute. For example NETQUOTEVAR:VARIANTSELECTOR1 will insert the choice selection mechanism for the first attribute for a product, NETQUOTEVAR:VARIANTSELECTOR2 for the second, and so on up to 10."

I need a few more and have gone upto 11 and it seems to work will this still be the case when i upload my new site?

my boxes are for prescription details aswell which site do you run?

It deinitely works for me, i got up to n = 14 and still can't break it, so no worries there

Ok heres a question

now that i have my boxes in nice rows not colums.

Can i have choice dependant choices?

ie. someone might want bifocals and bifocals are not available in a 1.67 lens. so it would be nice that the 1.67 choice does not appear once bifocals are selected?

just a thought but cant see that its possible.

I have drawn a total on generating logic between the boxes. I assume it must be something complicated though .

The site as it stands is very much an experiment at the moment. I was hoping to prove to a friend i could produce one for him, but whether he believes me or not i have no idea.

If it is possible i dont think i would bother with it. At the moment if a cutomer places an order that isnt possible we just give them a call or e-mail to talk about there options but this hardly ever happens.

My site is www.spex4less.com the site at the moment takes the prescription details at the check out making use of the deliver to a seperate adress which was quite sneeky of me.

Once i have re designed it i would need the prescription on the order page so that i have controll over what prescriptions are allowed for each product if one is required at all.

Any how the new site is coming on great so thanks for help with the layout.
