Save a copy of the overall layout template used for your product pages to a new name, then use <!-- --> to comment out the code that currently translates into your section lists. Then specify the new template as your overall layout for the product pages.
Exact details could be provided if you tell us what templates you are using.
An easier way would be to go into your sections and then go to the 'Layout' tab and for "Location and Arrangement of Section List", tick "Override Default Settings" and for "List Placement" tick "None".
Nadeem, I tried out your suggestion - only, it doesn't seem to be working.
I followed your instructions to the letter - is there another setting somewhere I need to set for it to work correctly?
Have you made the changes in Design |Options | Sections | 'Default Location and Arrangement of Section Lists', select none here. If you look a step above you will find teh settings for the 'Parent Section Links' so you can tackle the previous post there.
