Sitemap not showing brochure pages

Hiya we've developed a site which includes a sitemap link which is working fine. However, our problem occurs when the sitemap is generated, it does not appear to be including any brochure pages.

Am I being numpty? Does this sitemap function generate links for brochure pages? If so why would it be ommitting them?

I've answered my own question by reading this:

It would be nice if Actinic included Brochure pages in the Sitemap, after all they are part of ones site.

If you recreate your Brochure type pages as a section of your store, as I have, then Actinic does include them in the sitemap.

As Bill says you are often best dropping brochure pages in favour of sections and "product" pages with an appropriate layout this allows for greater flexibility and usability.
