    Contact Us Form

I have just discovered the Act_ContactUs form.

When I create a fragment within a Brochure page to use this template and publish it to the web, all the fields contain NETQUOTEVAR statements.

    Er....where am I going wrong?

Can't find any reference to Contact Forms in the help files.

    Cheers

    Spooky

    That's spooky, it now works

Seems I needed to refresh the site a couple of times for it to kick in....

    Sorry.

Not sure why you are creating a brochure fragment - Contact Us is normally part of the standard navigation menu inserted by HEADERGUIDE and FOOTERGUIDE NQVs. Are you using Custom Navigation?

What happens if you use NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBMAIL as the fragment link?

          Hi Bill,

As you say, it should have been part of the standard setup but wasn't for some reason.

Phoned the support line and we fixed it although not sure how!

Next issue is how to put a 'Request a Quote' form up. Looks like it might be worth doing that in HTML and pasting it into a fragment.....

          Cheers

A good starting point for this might be to go to your live site, and navigate to the contact us form. Use the browser menu options to View | source and save the resulting text file to your site1 directory as requestquote.html .

Edit that file in your html editor to give the content and layout you need (you might need to comment out some of the Actinic code while doing this, but don't delete it, you might want to use it in the live page), then add the final html file to your list of additional files to be uploaded by Actinic, and use a fragment to produce a clickable link from your site.
