Hello folks.
Today a customer mailed to ask why we were charging £30 shipping for an address in the UK for a small item.
He's right of course, it should be charging him about £2.20 as per our defined shipping table. £30 is the "everywhere else in the world" price.
I've heard people have had this once or twice in the past, but it occurs to me that maybe it happens more often and it scares people off and they never mail us! EEK!
Also have previously heard from people who are told by the checkout something like "there is no valid shipping band for this destination"
There is only United Kingdom on the selectable list, and those who've reported it have always stated that they did select that option.
Anybody seen this before and have any idea what's causing it?
Punter in question was just using good old IE6/SP1
TIA,
JD
