Images and design not uploading just text

I deleted my acatalog folder today because I wanted to perform a clean install after a few security problems with my site. Unfortunately I have just pressed the upload button and none of the images or design seems to have uploaded???? its just the bare text for the entire shop and alot of red file missing x's

any suggestions????
