Snapshot

Hello there,
When you do a site snapshot, do the pictures and other files are also compressed and saved within the snapshot or only the general format is saved and you need to have you pictures and files saved somewhere else.

Hi Carametis,

When you make a snapshot of the site it make a backup of all the files in your 'site1' folder. If you have your images or other reference files located outside the 'Site1' folder then the snapshot only brings across the references but will not carry the images / files and will give you errors for the missing files on importing the snapshot into an installation other than the one on the source machine. You will have to make a seperate backup and then save them in a similar location on the target machine.

I would suggest you keep your image files and other folders within the 'Site1' folder.
