or .... you could save yourself a bundle of cash and use the machine Actinic was written for
just my opinion!
I dare say you'd have a whole lot of fun running Actinic on a mac as it uses an access database to store information. But I'm only guessing.
Also, if you're emulating something on a computer it rarely works at the speed of the thing that you're emulating (unless you're talking about emulating really old hardware that is slow) because of the overhead that the emulation process take up. Therefore any extra speed advantages of the Mac will be lost by performing the emulation. As for the graphics being any better - well maybe once they were but I would argue that there is very little difference these days.

Well, most Windoze emulators require a Windoze license to run, and would most likely have the required libraries to operate the Office basics. That said, it's often a trial to use Access even on a Windows machine, and you'll know what I mean if you've ever come across the "For my next trick I will balloon to 2Gb despite only containing 4Mb of data and then refuse to open ever again, you'd better hope I'm not installed on the system partition of a small drive" bug.Originally posted by DazmanI dare say you'd have a whole lot of fun running Actinic on a mac as it uses an access database to store information.
