Can anyone help with my problem?

When testing the network settings Actinic just lock sup when testing the CGI Scripts can any one tell me why.

Yes, something is wrong

Seriously, if you tell us what host you are using and post the settings you have in network setup (blank out any user id and password first), then anyone who has previous experience of that host (or sees an error in your settings) can probably help.

One more thing you could do yourself, is try the network wizard (Web | Configure Website Details).
