    Lost Order

    Hi,
    I received an email from my server today saying that a new order had been received. When I did a download from Actinic it said no new orders. I then put a dummy order through myself which came through fine. I found however that the order numbers show a missing order. (Order number went from 2055 to 2057.) Is there a way I can get into the site and find out what happened to the missing order?

    IIRC this can happen when a customer tries to pay using the actinic javascript encryption but doesn't complete the payment details. For some reason the new order email gets sent and the order number incremented but no order file is created unless the customer completes the checkout.

    If you look in your acatalog files for a .ord file you may find something, but if it was there actinic would download it. You might find the session file with some order details in it though.

    Actinic could probably say whether this ever got fixed in V6 (or indeed V7) as this is a known problem.
