files outside actinic installation directory

Hi
Can anyone tell me what this means. I get a warning telling me that i have 'files outside actinic installation directory' They are all product images...

All help is appreciated

Hi, This warning means that your images are not in the Actinic Site folder (Programs \ Actinic \ site 1) You need to create an "images" folder in the site 1 folder and copy all your images into it - once done dont forget to reset all the image locations in your product listings etc.

Hi

I'm assuming that you have manually added picture links to your product pages? As Rural has said, if you've put in a link to a picture that will not be uploaded with your site structure, then you'll get this warning.

On the site online, people would see a picture placeholder if anything but no picture. In future (again as Ruralweb says) put your pictures in an Images folder within the actinic Site1 (or whatever it's called if you're multi site) directory structure, and then link to them from there.

If this is the problem let us know.
