help needed with upgrade from v4 to v6

hello there , i am getting the following error message after upgrding my v4 to v6 , please help, it lets me upload the site but when i try to download orders it says the following


server scripts are incompatible with this version of actinic. refresh the website ( I have tried this and it doesnt weork ), if order processing is split from the web site maintenance then the two copies of actinic must be upgraded to the same version ( this is not the case _), if this error persists copy the perl scripts from the original sub folder directory and try again .

then it says

SERVER VERSION 4BASA
CLIENT VERSION 6DHBA

Any help appreciated , im not the best with codes / ftp etc so if anyone can explain in plain english the problem i would be very grateful

Hi Gavin,

It looks like the server still has the v4 scripts up there and the system has v6 scripts. I would suggest you do a complete refresh of the wesite instead of just an upload. In Actinic go to the 'Web' menu and click on 'Refresh Website', it will come up with the following message " Are you sure you want to completely refresh the web site", click yes here.

This will ensure that the scripts too are updated on the server. If you have installed the v6 on a seperate machine and have the v4 still available, I would suggest you download the existing orders to the v4 machine and then proceed with the instructions above. You can then bring over a snapshot of the v4 site to v6 and all should be fine.
