Order Manager - Develop

Hi,

I have finally launched a site for my customer (thanks anyone who helped by answering my questions! ) and he will run order manager to download the sales.

If I add new products etc does he need to have a news snapshot for his order manager?

Hi Neil,

Technically, as long as the user on Order Manager has the same version, Encryption keys and username and password( Housekeeping | Security ) , they should be able to download orders and process them without you having to send them a snapshot every time. The downside here will be that they will not be able to monitor stock levels.

Thanks Bruce. We have agreed to manage stock levels in other ways.

If I was to instigate a special offer e..g 3 for 2 etc would they need a snapshot for that?

It will not be necessary as the offer calculation etc, will take place server side.

I have now developed a second site for my client which is basically a sister site. We are using the same protx account to proces it (and therefore the same payment order pages).

Do I need another copy of order manager to process these?
