Why aren't design settings working???

I'm using Best Seller theme and have Design Options | Site Defaults ticked for Quantity on Product Page and Single Add to Cart Button Per Page.

I have no quantity boxes with my products, I have an Add to Cart Button for each product AND...

the cart doesn't show the Short Product Description so I'll have no idea what's being ordered when I go live.

The checkout description is there but is white text on pale grey so VERY hard to discern

Have you tried unchecking the "single add to cart button per page" box and retain "quantity on product page" ticked?

Tried unticking the Single Add to Cart button and kept Qty on Product Page. No change. No quantity box. Zilch...

Any more suggestions appreciated.

i would remove all the html files from the remote server and remove the contents of SITEHTML on the local to force a fresh update, as well as fiddling with the tick boxes to single cart and quantity on product page to ensure these are properly reset

I'll give it a try in a bit, Jo...never happened before and my last site deployed had the same settings.

Quick one - check the settings at the section level to see if it is using the same as parent settings, or whether it is overriding at the section level, which if you based the site on the default structure and products which comes with each installation, might be the reason, just might anyway

BINGO!!!!
Quantity on Page was okay in the section but One Button Per Page wasn't ticked.
