    Going on holiday...

... need a break from all the orders I keep getting (joke).

So, I am going away to Ireland for a week and I need to ensure that people can not place orders on my site. Last time I went away I put up a holding page and suspended my AdWords campaign. However, when I got back some people had managed to get in through a back door and managed to place an order. It was a pain explaining to them why their orders were unfulfilled.

What is the easiest way to take my site down for a week?

View | Business Settings - on the ordering tab, put a tick in the suspended box. Would also recommend a fragment on your main page (pages if you use a brochure index page) stating how long ordering is suspended.

suspend is the way to go along with messages on each page to explain.

In the past I have also renamed the ca and os scripts so that those who are using cached copies can't order
